Annual Dinner and Membership Meeting

The Annual Dinner and Membership Meeting will be held at the Richmond Times-Dispatch Production Plant at Atlee Station, off Chamberlayne Avenue (Route 301). Social hour begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by buffet dinner at 7:00 p.m. Catering will be provided by Homemades by Suzanne. The program will feature an update by current president Lin Diacont as well as elections of new board members. Invitations will be mailed in August. Cost as yet undetermined. Reservations can be made by calling the HABCC office at 798-8130 or emailing admin@habcc.com.

Hanover Open Golf Tournament

The fifth annual Hanover Open charity golf tournament is scheduled for Monday, October 6, 2008 at Hanover Country Club. The format is captain's choice. Shotgun start is at 12:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the tournament create scholarships for graduating seniors at all four high schools in Hanover County. Hanover Country Club features a newly designed 18-hole course nestled in the rolling hills of Hanover, 4 miles west of Ashland off Route 54. The day concludes with dinner and prizes.

Homemades by Suzanne provides delicious seafood-themed hors d'oeuvres.
