    This year's Annual Dinner and Membership Meeting will be held at the Islamorada Restaurant inside Bass Pro Shops, 11550 Lakeridge Parkway, Ashland. 

    We will honor Hanover Sheriff V. Stuart Cook, who is retiring after many years of service to the County.

    The fifth in a series of six breakfast meetings featuring topics of interest to the business community and HABCC members.  This month's topic is:

    HANOVER COUNTY SCHOOLS UPDATE

    Dr. Stewart Roberson, Superintendent of Hanover County Public Schools, will provide an update on the ways in which the school system is responding to reduced funding from state and federal sources, while maintaining the high quality of education provided by Hanover County.

              $20 for members at the door
              $20 for non-members

    Cost includes a hot breakfast buffet catered by the Islamorada Restaurant, and includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, juice and coffee.

    Start your holiday shopping early at the October 20 Business After Hours social at Tompkins Jewelers in the Diamond Plaza, Ashland, at 266 Washington Highway.   Food and beverages will be provided by the Iron Horse Restaurant. 

    These networking events usually attract nearly 100 people.  Invite a guest or bring a valued customer.  The cost is only $10 for members, $15 for non-members.

    If you are a new member in 2010, there's no entry fee!  And if you sponsored a new member in 2010, your admission is free!
